Individuals seeking to obtain a commercial driver's license (CDL) for the first time must complete Entry-level Driver Training (ELDT). There are three components of ELDT:
 

• Theory Instruction

• Behind-the-wheel (BTW) Range

• Behind-the-wheel (BTW) Public Road

1. Register For Our Online Theory Course
Registration is easy and only takes a few minutes. Choose the course for the type of vehicle or endorsement that suits your needs. You can start the course immediately after registration. No classrooms, no lines.

2. Start The Course
The course can be taken from any device, any place, anytime. Simply login and complete each section of the course when it fits your schedule. We keep track of your progress. 

3. Complete The Course
After completing the course, you will receive a certificate and your training data is submitted to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's Training Provider Registry (TPR). You can then begin the behind-the-wheel training.
